The Shuttle service provided to and from city center is a real value . The sea side view is very romantic, specially at sun rise / set.
Not having a variety of cheese for the complementary breakfast.
The staff was incredibly friendly. The walk along the path hear the water is very nice. Also, they have multiple shuttle vans and are willing to accomodate guest's requests as conveniently as possible, including airport and bart
Unfortunately, it is not close to a bart station; however, the hotel will pick you up (and drop you off) at the airport and/or the closest bart station with free shuttle vans.
The staff were kind and courteous and the breakfasts fantastic.
Clean room, waterview room had no highway noise at all. The location was great as a base for San Francisco trips.
Hotel a bit difficult to navigate at first. TV in my room was in bad shape and picture on most channels was shaky.
It was a wonderful, very clean and nice hotel in Oakland, not far to SF via Bay Bridge, perfect location although it was in an industrial area of Oakland. With a car - not a problem. We never felt that it was not a secure area. However we shortened our stay in SF - was too boring, too overcrowded with German tourists running in groups and too expensive for what was offered there. LA area is more beautiful and more interesting. For SF 3 days are more than enough, it is simply too European.
The hotel service was very unfriendly and rather not polite. We booked a suite in the extra building but we never heard good morning word from the people who worked there. Breakfast was very poor and on paper plates! in a 3 star hotel ! Shocking. Tea bags in room ware not replenished, probably the service did not speak a word English, as I even left a note.
Clean room, large bathroom, comfortable lounge with wifi, good complementary breakfast, decent rates, and very well located. I'll be back.
Could have had wifi in the rooms instead of Ethernet.
The Inn had everything I was expecting as a business traveler. Clean, spacious room; high-speed Internet connection, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Balcony overlooking water was a restful working spot. Window screen allowed me to leave the window open and the air conditioning off. When the windows were closed, I was very pleased with how utterly quiet the room was - absolutely no noise from the adjacent freeway. Other things I appreciated included: well-done expanded continental breakfast; free newspapers; free airport shuttle; free business center. Free parking convenient to freeway; walking distance to bus stop. Great value for the price!
The staff at the desk was very helpful with every request I had. I found the shuttle service extremly helpful since I did not have a car on site. The best hotel experience I had in a long time with the feeling that they realy cared about their guests.
I feel that they should encourage their staff to learn english.
Free transportation service to ferry - big savings for SF tours. Jack London Square fine dining miles -
Ease of check-in; morning breakfast - food was great easy to carry-coffee to the next meeting!
The room air filters seemed dusty and not giving clean air.
Nice hotel - for business people only. Mr. Roberto was very helpful and friendly.
For a pedestrant (who had to come by taxi) is the location much too far away from Downtown Oakland!
Great location, very clean and quiet. The new wing is very nicely updated and very modern. Good job!
Ability to have a later check-out time but I understand.
Stayed in a waterside suite---excellent room and view
A little noisy from the airport and the railroad.
pretty much everything. we really like the privacy, rooms spacious, quiet, view of water etc.
The room was so musty, as though a group of men came back from the gym. but upon communicating this they immediately freshened up the room. upon checking out, they apologized and took 30 dollars off. GREAT! I just wish they had some restaurants, or Grills close or listed different places to dine. we got lost in oakland, the other side of freeway is dangerous area we found out.Mabye a local area map with food and entertainment might be food.movies, bowling, pool these suggestions might be appriciated by folks like myself who are not familiar with oakland.thank you
The rooms were very spacious and very clean and very quiet. Good value for the money. Breakfast included is a nice feature. Shuttle service a plus.
Distance from San Francisco was a negative but we knew that going in.
